The Members Church of God International’s (MCGI) flagship religious program, The Old Path hosted by Bro. Eli Soriano have reached more countries via radio, television, and the Web, and garnered more fans along the way in 2012.

Bro. Eli Soriano, the Presiding Minister to MCGI, together with Kuya Daniel Razon, the Vice-Presiding Minister to MCGI, stressed that the demand for broadcast has been even more overwhelming this year.
From South America
The Old Path is on full-throttle in South America as Spanish and Portuguese broadcast versions were carried through the group’s local channels there, the El Camino Antiguo (for Spanish-speaking countries) and O Caminho Antigo (for Portuguese-speaking constituents), respectively.
Nevertheless, El Camino Antiguo and O Caminho Antigo have entered the airwaves of Bolivia, Portugal and Honduras recently. These are additional broadcast efforts to those already established in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru, among many others.
But things were only just beginning for The Old Path’s South American viewers.

The 24/7 broadcasts of Spanish and Portuguese TV programs both on free-to-air and cable television have resulted in the establishment of new coordinating centers to accommodate the growing number of brethren, ranging from pastors of other religious beliefs to even a former sexy star, Desiree Acosta.
On top of broadcasting on free-to-air and cable TV, South Americans also turn to the World Wide Web for Bro. Eli’s preaching. Video archives of Questions and Answers, as well as other frequently asked questions are available for online viewing 24/7 via ocaminhoantigo.tv and elcaminoantiguo.com. Live video streaming of Bible Expositions are also aired every Wednesdays at 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. UTC-3.
To the Rest of the World
This year, satellite broadcasts have been booming not only in South America but also in other continents. Global broadcast of The Old Path is now reaching Asia and other parts of the world, such as in Africa, Canada, India, Europe as well as Central and North Americas.
For the religious program’s web-savvy patrons, they saw 2012 as a fruitful year, with the revamp of both AngDatingDaan.org and TheOldPath.TV.
Both sites now features a 24/7 live streaming of Itanong Mo Kay Soriano, Biblia ang Sasagot (Ask Soriano, the Bible Will Answer) episodes, Q&As and debate series. Visitors of the site can also request a free Bible service.
Both site’s relaunch now gives users faster and easier way to watch and share their favorite question-and-answer and debate episodes to their favorite social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
As reported by both Bro Eli and Bro Daniel, the global evangelization efforts are already reaping positive outcome in few weeks’ time. Emails have already started pouring in from various countries around the globe like Greece, USA, Europe and United Arab Emirates to name a few. Other emails are requests for free Bibles and directions to the nearest coordinating centers while some inquire about attending indoctrination sessions.
