We have members in Argentina who are former Catholics. I am thanking God that after the so-called ascension of the present Pope to the alleged throne of Peter, Argentines still strove to leave the Catholic Church and join us to be members of the Church of God International! I am happy for them in the sense that Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina caused the greatest collapse in the history of the Catholic Church when as present pope he pronounced that Jesus Christ is not a spirit but human! Consider this from Romereports.com where as Pope Francis he classifies Jesus as mere man.
For almost 2,000 years the Catholics were made to believe in the invented doctrine of trinity. They say that there are three “persons” in one God who are all perfectly equal as in this book written by one James Cardinal Gibbons. A cardinal is a leading dignitary of the Roman Catholic Church. Cardinals are nominated by the pope.
Now, if the son is equal to the Father and the Father is a spirit, it follows that the Son must also be a spirit!
JOHN 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
From the bosom of the spirit Father came the Son.
JOHN 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
He was begotten by the spirit Father.
HEBREWS 5:5
So also Christ glorified not himself to be made a high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, today have I begotten thee.
Strictly biblically speaking, a spirit begets a spirit!
JOHN 3:6
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
It is clear that the present pope is against this truth! He even said that Jesus is not a spirit but a person! Cannot a spirit, be a person in spirit?
HEBREWS 1:2-3
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
God the Father being a spirit is a person, and Jesus Christ is the express image of his person! But this does not classify Jesus Christ in the way that we know persons.
The Son of God is a Spirit Being
When God began creating the universe, He showed in material creation the counter part of that which is spiritual.
HEBREWS 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Material creation has its counterpart in the spiritual world.
JOHN 3:12
If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
A heavenly body is different from an earthly body.
I CORINTHIANS 15:40
There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
Material creation was meant to show humanity the everlasting power and Godhead of the Creator.
THE ROMANS 1:19-20
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
The Son was begotten of the Father before the creation of the material universe.
JOHN 17:5
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
He existed with the Father in the spirit world from eternity.
MICAH 5:2
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
His body of flesh and bones was prepared on earth before He came.
HEBREWS 10:5
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
Note the phrase “when he cometh into the world” implying that He came from outside the world – from heaven – particularly from the bosom of the Father.
JOHN 6:38
For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.JOHN 13:3
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;JOHN 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
To say that Jesus Christ is not a spirit but a man is a big lie, displaying an unparalleled ignorance of the Bible; and worse is that such ignorance comes from a leader claiming authority over more than a billion souls! Tsk! Tsk!
This is a very serious mistake, which when believed upon may cause the perdition of almost one fourth of the present world population. False beliefs are reasons enough to lose salvation.
GALATIANS 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Heresies can disqualify one’s entry into the kingdom of heaven.
Even after His death and resurrection, the Lord Jesus Christ was believed to be a spirit by the real authorities of the Christian faith: the Apostles. So, why not now with the present Pope?
I CORINTHIANS 15:45
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
The Bible says the last Adam is the Lord Jesus Christ, a quickening spirit! In contrast, the Pope said Christ is not a spirit!
His declaration that Jesus Christ is not a spirit is due to the fact that the spirit of the Lord did not remove the veil of darkness in his mind!
II CORINTHIANS 3:13-17
13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ.
15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.
16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
To my Catholic friends, believe on what was written and you will not be victims of ignorance and fallacies. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. The truth of the word of God will set us at liberty, will free us as captives of religious leaders whose only aim is to enrich themselves and attain power and glory!
JEREMIAH 5:26-27
26 For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.
27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.MICAH 3:11
The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.
