Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino III could anytime start his own television show that would let him answer people’s questions and reach wide audience for enhanced cooperation and support from his constituents.

Bro. Eli Soriano wants the Filipino people to know their President more through a show that will be dubbed as “The President’s Hour” to be aired at UNTV. The preacher humbly invited the Chief Executive through Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Herminio Coloma.
“Sec. Coloma, tell the president I am inviting him in UNTV. I will give him one hour of my hours in UN Television,” said Bro. Eli. “We’ll call it ‘The President’s Hour.'”
With his offer, the preacher hopes that people will get to know the President more while the Chief Executive will know of his subject (the Filipino people). “People should know their President, he should speak to us more,” the Ang Dating Daan host said.
Sec. Coloma was in attendance during the Big 10 Anniversary of UNTV as guest of honor. The two-day event was held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from June 25-26 this year.
Bro. Eli suggested the idea that the President can have the International Evangelist’s one hour timeslot at UNTV. Bro. Eli is Presiding Minister to Members Church of God International (MCGI).

The offer from Bro. Eli came following Sec. Coloma’s speech scoring other networks who are faulting the President when reprimanding government officials for wrongdoings.
Bro. Soriano also underlined that even if a President is virtuous, his government may still be flawed when “power-hungry people” serve under his supervision.
“That’s why the citizens must know their President, so the President will gain help from the people, [and as a result] all these corruption in the government will be eliminated.”
