As the entire world prepares for the “new normal,” Bro. Eliseo Soriano is making it a lot easier for more people to learn about Christ’s doctrines via the online Live Mass Indoctrination.
It is in the indoctrination sessions where the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ are taught and discussed in detail. The Old Path Live Mass Indoctrination sessions started streaming on June 1, 2020 via the program’s YouTube and social media channels.
Previously, the indoctrination sessions were held in all the coordinating centers of the Members Church of God International or MCGI, the religious organization behind the program, Ang Dating Daan (The Old Path).
But due to the restrictions and health protocols that governments in various countries impose to prevent the spread of Covid-19, one of which is the suspension of mass gatherings, MCGI Overall Servant Bro. Eli Soriano deemed it more prudent to hold the Mass Indoctrination online.

Everyone is invited to listen to the indoctrination sessions. And while attending all the indoctrination sessions is a requisite to baptism and becoming a member of the Church of God International, baptism is solely upon the decision of an attendee.
Baptism is only encouraged to those who wholeheartedly believe and accept the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ discussed to them during the indoctrination sessions.
On Accepting the Christ of the Bible
“If we are to accept the Lord Jesus, we have to accept His doctrines,” said Bro. Eli.
Citing John 12:48, Bro. Eli preluded the event by stressing the importance of accepting not just the name of Christ, but His words as well.
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. — John 12:48
“The teachings or the doctrines of Christ are the representation of the person of the Lord Jesus Christ,” Bro. Eli said.
The event registered about 50,000 accumulated views online, apart from those who were watching via satellite.
Planting the Seeds
The online Mass Indoctrination came after a series of Bible Studies (from Mondays to Thursdays), and Bible Expositions (on Fridays) since April 12 of this year.
